Bill Humes, formerly a resident of North Powder, Oregon, passed away in a Lewiston, Idaho hospital last week. Details surrounding his death and funeral arrangements remain undisclosed. Notably, Humes had been engaged in a mining project along the Salmon River prior to his passing. He operated a shoe repair shop in North Powder for many years, which was destroyed by fire several months ago. Reports indicate that he had no known relatives.
