Biography of Peter J. Holohan
Peter J. Holohan, an early settler of Wallace, Idaho, was born in Hardin County, Kentucky, to Irish immigrant parents. He moved to Iowa as a child and later settled in Idaho in the late 1870s. Holohan initially gained success by supplying mining camps before establishing a partnership in the Holohan McKinlay tobacco and cigar business. He is noted for his real estate ventures and mining activities. A prominent Democrat and community figure, he married Mildred Sebastian and has two children.
