Biographical Sketch of William P. Heyser

William P. Heyser, born July 19, 1840, in Kentucky, relocated to DeKalb County, Missouri, in 1857, where he began farming. In 1864, he journeyed to Virginia City, Montana for work before returning to Missouri in 1867. By 1870, he settled in Daviess County, where he cultivated a well-improved 280-acre farm in Liberty township. Married to Sarah C. Miller in 1869, they had four children: Charles, Frederick, Ethel, and Sallie. Heyser is recognized as a capable businessman and a respected member of his community.
