Girod

LOUIS N. GIROD, teacher, was born August 24, 1859, in Hopkins County, Ky. His parents were John and Sarah K. (Coffman) Girod, the father a native of France, the mother of Kentucky. The father was a merchant at Henderson, and later at Ashbysburgh, Ky. He came to this county in 1855. His death occurred in 1863, aged forty. The mother is living in Webster County, Ky.
