Biography of Vincent Fines

Vincent Fines emigrated from Germany, initially settling in Pennsylvania before moving to Tennessee, where he met an untimely death due to an accidental gun discharge. His wife, after marrying Reuben Bedford, had three more children. Their son Thomas married Mary Nave and had several descendants. Abraham, marrying Cynthia Harper in 1819, faced challenges in securing a Justice of the Peace for their wedding, demonstrating the perseverance of the family. Vincent was noted for his athleticism and early civic involvement as a grand juryman in Montgomery County.
