Deffenderfer

C. F. Deffenderfer, an undertaker and furniture dealer in Albion, Nebraska since April 1868, was born in Union County, Pennsylvania, in 1839. He worked for a decade in the furniture and cabinet industry before relocating to Albion in 1878. He carries a stock valued at $2,000. In 1873, he married Matilda M. Gray, originally from Santa Cruz, and they have two children, Maud and Herbert.
