Biographical Sketch of W. W. Daviess
W. W. Daviess, a prominent real estate broker born in Louisville, Kentucky, on March 1, 1870, was the son of Wallace Buchanan and Kate Applegate Daviess. He received his education in local public schools and married Grace Darling Bruner in 1892, with whom he had two daughters. In 1908, Daviess significantly promoted Conway, Arkansas, selling 1,372 lots within three days. By 1912, he had sold over $4 million in real estate in Cleveland. He was involved in community service as a trustee of St. Luke’s Hospital and participated in local organizations.
