Biographical Sketch of G. A. Crannell
G. A. Crannell, originally from Saratoga County, New York, moved to Jackson County, Iowa, in 1857. He ventured to California in 1861 for mining before returning to Jackson County in 1867 and subsequently settling in Nebraska. Crannell now owns 420 acres of well-improved farmland and was elected County Commissioner in 1881.
