Carlow

Was born near Petersborough, in Canada, April 2, 1838. His parents, .John and Susan Lee Carlow, were natives of Ireland; his father died in Canada in 1879, and his mother still resides there. When twenty-five years .of age, Joseph H. Carlow left his native place and went to Saginaw, Michigan, where he remained two years engaged in building.
