Biographical Sketch of D. F. Bothwell
D. F. Bothwell, a stock-dealer since 1881, has specialized in live stock, notably shipping twenty-five carloads of hogs that year. Born in Cayuga County, N.Y., in 1830, he engaged in farming before transitioning to the meat market and livestock business across various locations, including Wisconsin, Missouri, and Chicago. Returning to Juneau County in 1879, he eventually settled in Albion. Bothwell married Adelaide Balfour in 1865, and they have two children, Dana F. and Martin.
