Borth

Herman Borth, born on October 17, 1851, in St. Louis, Missouri, is a prominent figure in Doniphan, where he co-founded the successful firm Borth, Barrett & Co. His father, a German immigrant, settled in Doniphan after moving from St. Louis. Borth’s diverse career includes work in agriculture and railroad industries before establishing his business. He served as treasurer of Ripley County and was married three times, having three children with his last wife. Borth is also involved in local fraternal organizations.
