Corpl. Claud Blizzard

Corpl. Claud Blizzard, born to W. H. and Etter Blizzard in Wayne County, served in the 116th Supply Train. He entered the North Carolina National Guard on January 17, 1914, and served until May 4, 1917. Blizzard was later stationed at Camp Jackson and Camp Merritt before sailing to France on March 12, 1918, where he served in the Motor Transport Service. He returned to the United States on July 22, 1919, and was mustered out at Camp Lee, Virginia, on July 28, 1919.
