Biographical Sketch of Thomas Beazley

Thomas Beazley was born on June 20, 1839, in Christian County, Kentucky, and later moved to Todd County, where he has resided ever since. He is the son of James Beazley, a War of 1812 veteran, and Elizabeth McDugal. Married in 1878 to Georgia Tutt, they had one son, James Thomas. A proficient farmer, Beazley owns 413 acres of cultivated land and is noted for his remarkable size, standing six feet tall and weighing 417 pounds, making him one of the heaviest men in Kentucky.
