Linda Marie Young, 48, Died April 18, 2008, at her home in Baker City, Ore.
A viewing was held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m, April 23, 2008, at Coles Funeral Home. Funeral services were held April 24, 2008, at 11 a.m at Coles Funeral Home. Pastor Roger Scovil from the Baker City Christian Church officiated.
Linda was born Jan. 11, 1960, in Washington DC to David R. and Diane M. (Kuhlman) Young.
Linda had many life accomplishments which included being a licensed nurse, certified teacher and a volunteer at her daughter’s school, Brooklyn Elementary. She was a member of the Baker City Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by her Father David R. Young. Linda is survived by her daughter and love of her life Elsa Young, Mother and Step-Father, Diane Young Teixeira and Jerry A. Teixeira Baker City; Sister Vickie Young Lebowitz of Hawaii; Nieces Nicole Wilson of North Carolina; Diane Lebowitz of Hawaii; Nephew David Lebowitz of Hawaii; and Great Nephew Aiden Wilson of North Carolina. Surviving relatives include her beloved Aunt Alice Moore of Virginia; Cousins: Jeanne Lawson of North Carolina, Bill Moore of Virginia and Scott Young of Florida. Special places in her heart were given to her Uncle Jonas Kuhlman of Virginia and sister of the heart Wendy Christenson of California. She was a blessing to her Mother and Father and later her beloved Step-Father.
She will remain in our hearts forever. Aloha Nui Lozi ~ Your Sis.
