Monte Gene Sipp, 58, died April 15, 2007, from rapid cancer complications.
There will be a private ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday at Little Chapel of the Chimes, 1167 S.E. Stevens Road, in Portland.
After moving from his family’s hometown of Baker City, Monte met, fell in love with and married Marlene Mathistad of Tillamook.
As chief engineer at U.S. Bank, Monte was a helpful, knowledgeable friend to all. He was a devoted husband, a committed father and a sincere family member. The strength, courage and wisdom shown throughout his 58 years of life will be remembered.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Marlene; his son, Shane; his daughter, Shawna; his sister, Llona Crane; and two brothers, Larry Crane and Dan Sipp.
Memorial contributions may be made to the oncology and lung research departments at Adventist Medical facility in Portland.
