Ritch, David Fayne – Obituary

David Fayne Ritch, 50, passed away due to cancer on Oct.8,2005.

David was the son of Fayne Fredrick Ritch and Joyce Mae Thompson, Ritch. He was born Feb.15, 1955 in Baker,Ore.

He is survived by his mother Joyce Anderson of Carlton, Washington, his father Fayne Ritch of Paulina, Ore, a sister Suzy Fay Ritch Twiss, her husband Everett and two nephews Ross and Kyle Twiss, all of Prineville, Ore . David has two children Crystal Ritch of Everett,Wash., and a two year old son Sterling David Ritch of Omak,Wash.

David graduated from Pine Valley High School in Halfway, Ore. He attended college at Blue Mt. Community College in Pendleton. His goal was to be a veterinarian. He left college to work the ranch with his father. He was 46 when he left the ranch. He has lived in Keller, Wash. and worked at Toleman Fire center since. He had a great love for the work, the area and people. They call him Super Dave. Dave enjoyed fishing and liked to hunt.

David will be cremated and a memorial and celebration of his life will be held in his honor at the Keller, Wash. Community Center on Saturday Nov. 5. A dinner will be served at noon. Salmon and meat dishes will be furnished. Potluck for the balance of the dinner would be appreciated. Everyone is Welcome.
