Beatrice L. “Bea” Parmele, 82, of Cove, died July 29, 2007, at Grande Ronde Hospital in La Grande.
In honor of Bea’s wishes, there will not be a service.
Bea was born on March 29, 1925, at Portland to Bernice and Dora Cooper. She married Donald Parmele on August 20, 1945, at Portland.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, gardening, numerous pets throughout her life and her current cat, Scamper.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Dan and Kris Parmele of Boring, Jerry and Jana Parmele of Cove and Joanne and Randy Crutcher of Baker City; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital through Loveland Chapel, 1508 Fourth St., La Grande, Or. 97850.
