Alfred Gene Otto, 73, of Baker City, died Nov. 9, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Health Services.
At his request, there will be no funeral.
Alfred Gene was born on July 20, 1933, at Clintonville, Wis., to Alfred Herman and Viola Beatrice Laahs Otto. He was raised at Clintonville where he met and married Marlea Schwenkner. They moved to Baker City in 1993.
He owned and operated Econ-Quality Printing. The business started as a hobby but grew to be much more. Alfred also enjoyed radio control model planes.
Survivors include his wife, Marlea Otto of Baker City; sons, Stephen Otto of Baker City and Robert Otto and his wife, Bonnie, of Boise; grandsons, Jeremy and William Otto; great-grandchildren, Makaylah and Ryan Otto; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gray’s West & Co. Pioneer Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
