Killed When Train Hits Rr.R. Speeder
Clifford R. Olson of Telocaset, employed as signal maintainer on the Union Pacific, was killed between North Powder and Telocaset last Friday when his speeder met a freight train on a curve. Olsen was thrown some distance and instantly killed. The body was removed to Baker on No. 24 Friday afternoon.
Olson was about 25 years of age and is said to have been unmarried. His father lives at Boardman, Oregon. He had been at Telocaset about two months..
The body was taken to Boardman for burial Saturday.
