Telocaset, Union County, Oregon Killed When Train Hits Rr.R. Speeder Clifford R. Olson of Telocaset, employed as signal maintainer on the Union Pacific, was killed between North Powder and Telocaset last Friday when his speeder met a freight train on a curve. Olsen was thrown some distance and instantly killed. The body was removed to Baker on No. 24 Friday afternoon. Olson was about 25 years of age and is said to have been unmarried. Funeral services for LeRoy R. Rash, 74, Boardman, will be Monday [March 22, 1951] 2 p.m. at the Burns Chapel in Hermiston. Dr. James Bennett of the Hermiston Baptist Church will preach the services. Burial will be in Olney Cemetery in Pendleton. Mr. Rash died at Boardman at the home of a son, Harold Rash. Another son survives him, Lloyd Rash of Estacade, Ore.
