Died in La Grande Wednesday morning, December 10, 1924, Mrs. Elmer Neilson, age 43 years.
Mrs. Neilson was formerly Miss Fannie Logsdon of Union and High Valley. She attended school in Union. After her marriage she moved to La Grande.
Eight weeks ago she underwent a severe kidney operation at the Grande Ronde Hospital. She recovered sufficiently to get around and help herself a little, and all at once she began to fail and continued to do so until she passed on. She was at the home of her sister, Mrs. Will Kelley, when the summons came.
She is survived by her husband and three children-two daughters and one son, all of school age; an aged mother, two sisters-Mrs. Will Kelley, of La Grande; Mrs. Maude Johnson of Portland, with whom the mother lives; and one brother-Charles Logsdon of Junction City, Oregon.
Mrs. Neilson has a host of friends in Union who learn with regret of her passing.
The funeral will be held at La Grande, Friday, December 12, at 2 o’clock p.m. those going to La Grande to attend the funeral are Mr. and Mrs. James Webb, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wheeler and Mrs. Mary Minnick.
