Samuel McMasters, an old citizen of Union, was found dead in his bed Monday morning last, and an examination by physicians demonstrated that he had died a natural death of heart failure.
He was 57 years, 4 months and 29 days of age and leaves three children-two sons and one daughter, Mrs. J. F. Sheets, of Joseph, Oregon.
The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon from his late residence in South Union, and was largely attended.
