Macy, Armand – Obituary

Armand Charles Macy, 29, a former Baker City resident, died from injuries sustained in a car accident on June 8, 2009.

There will be a Celebration of Life potluck gathering in his memory at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ogden Horse Camp on Paulina Road. Everyone is invited to come and share memories.

Armand was born on Nov. 3, 1979, at Bend to Howard and Carmen Nolet Macy. He moved with his family to Baker City at age 12, where he finished high school.

He worked as a customer service representative for AnswerNet in Portland while attending Portland Community College Sylvania Campus. Armand enjoyed fishing, hunting, bike riding and camping – anything to do with the outdoors.

Armand had a great love for people, life and especially the Lord, his family said.

Survivors include his parents; his fiancee, Crystal Davies of Portland; his son, Candrew Post of La Grande; brother, John Macy of Bend; and sister Erin Macy of La Pine.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John and Armand.
