Verla Maxine Gorbett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester E. Gorbett of Promise died yesterday morning, March 10, 1937, at the Wallowa hospital. She was taken there suffering from a ruptured appendix and was operated on. She was born in Promise June 21, 1929. Surviving are her parents and two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at Promise tomorrow.
