Craig Kenneth Follett, 59, of Elgin, died Dec. 13, 2007, at the Grande Ronde Hospital in La Grande.

Craig was born on Aug. 26, 1948, at La Grande to Warren and Annie Sanderson Follett. He worked as a glass installer in the Seattle, Wash., area for many years. He moved back to Union County six years ago.

When he was younger he enjoyed skydiving. He had a great love for the outdoors and being in the mountains. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and making huge campfires to sit around.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Dani Follett of Waterville, Wash.; daughter, Julie Gerber of Baker City; parents, Warren and Annie Follett of Elgin; sisters, Ronna Witherspoon and Jaylene Witherspoon, both of the Cricket Flat area in Union County; six grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Wendy Follett, who died at the age of 6.
