Fae Jury Edge, 89, of Baker City, died Aug. 8, 2007, of natural causes.
A graveside service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitations will be from noon to 3 p.m. Monday at Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St.
Fae was born on May 30, 1918, at Baker City to Percy Houston Lewis and Thelma Alice Petersen Lewis. She was the first of four daughters born to Percy and Thelma.
She grew up and attended schools in the Baker City and Wingville areas. She married Archie Edge of Baker City on March 7, 1941. They lived at Huntington for a short time while Archie was working at the cement plant in Lime.
At the outbreak of World War II, they moved to Portland where they lived until returning to Baker City in 1993.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Archie Edge; her parents; and two sisters, Adele Williams and Hap Leigh, both of Baker City.
Survivors include her son and his wife, Ron and Jan Edge, and a sister, Zena Edwards of Baker City; three grandchildren, Jury Brant Edge-Gustaveson, and her husband, Dustin, of Fossil, Joelleen Christopher and her husband, Anthony, of Denver and Travis Wade Edge and his wife, Joni, of Molalla; six great-grandchildren, Wade, Wyatt and Will Gustaveson, Anthony Christopher Jr., and Olivia and Georgia Edge; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
