Karlyn Sue Burgess, 43, of Enterprise, died Friday.
A service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the LDS church in Elgin. Bollman Funeral Home will provide a full obituary later.

Karlyn Sue Burgess, 43, of Enterprise died Dec. 10 at her home after a long illness.
A celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 14 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Elgin with a reception following at the Elgin Community Center. Burial will be at the Elgin Cemetery.
Mrs. Burgess was born March 24, 1961, to Ken and Betty Witty Adams in La Grande. She graduated from Elgin High School in 1979 and graduated from the La Grande College of Business in 1981. In June 1993 she married Scott Burgess. The couple lived in various places in the Pacific Northwest where she sold real estate. She was currently employed by Daggett and Associates GMAC Real Estate.
She enjoyed riding her paint horse Cheeko, camping, boating and going to yard sales and a good auction. Her love of life and laughter brought energy to everyone she knew.
Survivors include her husband of Enterprise; children and their spouses, Kyle Stookey of Enterprise, Kristin and Michael Cardoza and Dustin and Heather Burgess, all of La Grande; one grandchild; her parents of La Grande; siblings and their spouses, Kenna Jean and Mike Jordan, and Melynda and Dennis Bean, all of Lewiston, Idaho, and Larry Adams and Joan Stanley of Elgin; and other relatives.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in care of Bollman Funeral Home, 315 W. Main St., Enterprise.
