Ohio Cemetery Records

Ohio Cemetery records are listed by county then name of cemetery within the Ohio county. Most of these are complete indices at the time of transcription, however, in some cases we list the listing when it is only a partial listing.

The Ohio Genealogical Society has attempted to identify all Ohio cemeteries, encourages its Chapters to publish transcriptions, and offers advice on cemetery law and preservation methods. The OGS Cemetery Committee has put together a variety of resources for those interested in reading, researching, or preserving cemeteries.

  1. Looking for where Cemetery 1844 records at the St. Johns Reformed Church were moved to after the church closed I suspect happened in the 1960’s? My great great grandfather William “David Warner” died on April15, 1844. This is about 1 year after my Great Grandfather, David Warner was born. I have yet to figure out what he died from. Anyone who may have a clue to the answer to these questions, please respond.
