Sailed to Liverpool, Eng., July 12, 1918. Promoted to Corpl. June 6, 1918; to Sergt. Nov. 19, 1919. Fought at Meuse-Argonne, where he was gassed. Returned to USA, Hoboken, N. J., May 22, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Meade June 3, 1919.
