Sergt., Btry. A, 30th Div., 113th F. A. Regt.; of Jones County; son of A. P. and Mrs. J. Torrence. Entered service July 29, 1917, at Pollocksville. Sent to Camp Sevier, transferred to Camp Mills. Sailed for France May 26, 1918. Fought in all battles with 113th Regt. Returned to USA March 18, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Jackson March 28, 1919.
