Sergt., 120th Inf., 30th Div., Co. M. Entered the service June 5, 1917, at Asheville, N.C. Was sent to Camp Sevier, S. C. Sailed for France May 17, 1918. Was at Ypres Front on special observation duty. Was at the Hindenburg Drive with the 2nd British Army. Was on the front until Oct. 28, 1918. Returned to USA April 7, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Jackson, S. C., April 21, 1919.
