Transferred to Camp Merritt, N. J. Sailed for Liverpool, Eng., and Calais, France, May 27, 1918. Fought at Hindenburg Drive, Bellicourt, Ypres. Gassed at Hindenburg Drive, Oct. 4, 1918. Sent to 5th Gen. Hospital. Arrived in USA from St. Nazaire, France, April 13, 1919, at Charleston, S. C. Mustered out at Camp Jackson, S. C., April 19, 1919.
