Private, 60th F. A., Btry. A. Born in Cabarrus County; the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed M. Cook. Entered the service at Concord, N.C., Aug. 26, 1918. Was sent to Camp Jackson, S. C., and then to Camp Hill, Va. Was on way to France the day Armistice was signed. Mustered out at Camp Jackson, S. C., Feb. 6, 1919.
