Entered the service at Warsaw, N.C., July 21, 1918, and sent to Camp Hancock, Ga. Promoted Corporal Aug. 15, 1918. Instructor in Machine Gun Training Center at Camp Hancock, Ga., for four months. Mustered out of the service at Camp Hancock, Ga., Dec. 21, 1918.
