C., and then transferred to Ft. Caswell and then to Camp Merritt, N. J. Sailed for France Nov. 9, 1918. Trained at Clemson College, S. C., for mechanic. Mustered out of the service at Fortress Monroe, Va., Jan. 19, 1919.
