I am looking for an obituary for “Stanley Alden Bartels” Born 1922 Died 1942 “could be a year off . His grave is in the Shell Creek Cemetery in Newman, Ne.
I am going on the Honor Flight San Diego in April 2023 28th thru 30th and he and I are the only ones from
our family that were in the military. I saw on a web site that he was buried at sea. I have pics from his funeral showing
a casket and grave. I recall our family saying that they never knew if there any remains inside. I would like to
leave a flower or token when I visit the WWII memorial in April. I understand if this information us unobtainable.
Thank you
