With 95 Indian children of school age Leake county maintains but two schools for Indian youth, one of which is known as the Redwater Indian School, and is located in section 11 township 10 north range 6 east, about 8 miles west of Carthage, the county seat of Leake county. during the past scholastic year this school was taught by Ed Evans, and the returns show an average attendance of 13 with an enrollment of 20 as follows:
