Jederberg, Warren William – Obituary

Warren William Jederberg, 85, of La Grande, Oregon, passed away at Grande Ronde Hospital. Born in South Dakota in 1921, he moved to La Grande in 1943 as an aviation cadet and later served in WWII in Europe. An accomplished mechanic and dedicated member of the LDS Church, he worked as a Stake Custodian and served two years at the Boise Temple. He is survived by six children, 15 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren, and will be buried beside his wife at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Hoskins, Jerome – Obituary

Jerome Jerry Hoskins, 78, of La Grande, passed away on January 10. Services will be held at St. Peters Episcopal Church. Born on August 21, 1928, in Havre, Montana, he earned the Eagle Scout award and graduated in 1946. Jerry married Elizabeth June (Bette) Holmes in 1949. His career included work with the railroads and as a senior engineer at GTE until retirement in 1987. A dedicated community member, he was active in the Episcopal Church and various local organizations. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Frison, Donald L. – Obituary

Donald L. Frison, 62, of Island City, Oregon, passed away on March 30 at his home. Born on December 10, 1945, in Mobridge, South Dakota, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He worked extensively with the Teamsters and Operating Engineers Unions before retiring in 1999. A passionate outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Dana, a daughter, a stepdaughter, siblings, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions can be made to charity.
