Memorial Services Held At Lostine Memorial services for Berkeley Caudle who passed away at Wallowa Memorial hospital Wednesday, Saturday 22, were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Christian church in Lostine, under the direction of the Booth-Bollman Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert John officiated. With Miss Martha Crow at the piano, Mrs. Orval McArtor sang “Under His Wings”, and she and Melvin Crow sang “Beyond The Sunset.” Pallbearers were Wm. E. She was born April 14, 1887 in La Grande, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Jake Gulling. She was a member of St. Katherine’s Catholic Church. Wallowa Lake, Oregon Oliver Earl Boeve, 54, of Wallowa Lake died April 15, 2005, at home. He was born June 7, 1950, in Portland, the son of the late Kenneth Gerald Boeve and Mary Lou Atkinson Boeve. He grew up in Tigard and Sherwood, graduating from Sherwood High School in 1969. Boeve served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne in 1970-71. Mrs. Fred Rich, resident of Wallowa for the last 48 years, passed away Friday morning (May 29, 1936) following a lingering illness. While the end came somewhat suddenly, she had been in failing health for more than a year and her recovery had long been despaired of.
