Joseph Clay Dies Suddenly Joseph Clay passed away at his home in Vincent Friday night 9:15 of a heart attack. He had been out looking after his cattle and had walked a long way. Coming home in the evening, he opened the door and collapsed, never regaining consciousness. Mrs. Estelle Anthony, who had been keeping house for Mr. Clay for some time was unable to get help until the next morning, there being no phone in the house and walked to Rondowa the next morning to get assistance. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Nina L. Racey, 91, of Enterprise, died at home Saturday April 29, 2000. She was born in Boring, Oregon on August 6, 1908 to Melvil and Dora Deen. She married Laurence House and they had a daughter, Wanda June House. They were later divorced, and she and Wanda moved to Malheur where she met and married Alexander Racey. He came to the United States at the age of 16 with only 10 cents in his pocket. He worked as a cobbler for many years and while living in Rushford, Minn, he married Isabelle Gulickson.
