He lived in various towns, including Woburn, Westboro, and Southboro, and was likely a carpenter. Locke sold land in Southboro in 1753 and appeared on the town’s alarm list in 1757. He passed away in 1767, with his second wife outliving him. His children included Joshua, Josiah, and Ebenezer.
