A funeral service will be held Monday, May 12 at 2 p.m. at Gray’s West & Company Pioneer Chapel. Visitations will be Friday until 8 p.m. James was born Aug. 12, 1934, in Sunnybrook, N.Y., to Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffman. In 1978 he moved to Sacramento, Calif.
