Biography of Donald S. McCrea

Donald S. McCrea, a hardware merchant in Kendrick since 1891, was born on February 10, 1862, in Minnesota. He established his first store in Warren, Minnesota, before moving to Rockford, Washington, and then to Kendrick, where he founded McCrea Brothers Company. McCrea is actively involved in local governance and community organizations and has built a successful business recognized for its extensive inventory and customer service. He was married to Dora M. Davies, who passed away, leaving him with a daughter. McCrea is a respected and industrious member of his community.

Billerbeck, Harry Paul – Obituary

Harry Paul Billerbeck, 60, of Summerville, Oregon, passed away from a heart attack while working as a superintendent for A. J. Zinda Construction Co. Originally from Rockford, Washington, he moved to Wallowa County as a child and later farmed in Union County after marrying Bernice Slack in 1935. He is survived by his wife, son Darrel, daughter Joyce Brown, and six grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Daniels Valley Funeral Chapel, with interment at Summerville Cemetery.
