Biographical Sketch of Moses Gray Carrel
Moses Gray Carrel was born on June 4, 1854, in Fulton County, Ohio. He served as a dist. passenger agent for the B. O. R. R. and held various positions in the railroad industry, including telegraph operator and ticket agent, between 1870 and 1904. He was also involved in banking and journalism. Carrel was active in Masonic organizations, serving as secretary and treasurer of the W. M. Meridian Lodge and as an organizer of the International Ticket Agents Association. He married Jennie E. Bradley in 1875 and had three children.
