This 1914 Plymouth County, Iowa, atlas provides township maps for all townships and towns found within Plymouth County, Iowa, in 1914. The “farm directory” is found on each township map which appear as a land owner map for that township. The 4 towns found within the county, Akron, Kingsley, Le Mans, and Remsen have maps but they do not provide the property owners name in most instances. This atlas does not provide an index, and since the names of lot owners appear in multiple direction of the map, you will need to search each map by hand. That requires you to know the township.

Biography of C. A. S. Prosser, M. D.
Dr. C. A. S. Prosser, born in 1864 in Lunenburg, Ontario, became a prominent physician in Boise, Idaho, after pursuing medical studies under his brother’s guidance. He graduated from Bellevue Hospital Medical College in 1887, initially practicing in New York and Iowa before relocating to Boise in 1893 for health reasons. There, he established a successful practice and served as a physician at Wesleyan Hospital. Married to Clara Raymond, he had two daughters and became an esteemed member of his community, recognized for his professional achievements.
Biography of Illiam Francis Allison
Illiam Francis Allison, born on September 7, 1847, in Lockhaven, Pennsylvania, rose from humble beginnings on a farm to become a notable businessman and community leader. After serving in the Union army, he faced health challenges that led him through various endeavors, including the drug industry in Iowa and later, Southern California. In partnership with Dr. A. D. Bedford, he established a successful drug business. Despite his physical limitations, Allison was an influential real estate figure and a devoted member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, remembered for his integrity and dedication to duty.

Walter William Richardson is the secretary and manager of the Clarinda Poultry, Butter Egg Company, significantly contributing to the business landscape of Clarinda.
