Poulson, P. S. – Obituary
Peter S. Poulson, a respected pioneer of Baker County, passed away in Portland on March 24, 1928, at the age of 84. Born in Denmark in 1843, he immigrated to the U.S. as a young man and settled in the Baker Valley in 1869. Poulson homesteaded a ranch and was involved in freight operations. He married Jennie E. Rainey in 1884 and had four children. His funeral was held in Portland, with plans for his ashes to be scattered in Baker Valley.
