Descendants of William Burke
William Burke, born in 1752 in Galway, Ireland, emigrated to Boston post-Bunker Hill. He died in Millington, Connecticut, in 1836. Burke married Lucetta Maynard in 1780, and they had several children, including William, Mary, and Joseph C., who became a Yale-educated physician. After Lucetta’s death in 1818, Burke wed Olive Arnold in 1821. His descendants include notable figures, with records of their lives and marriages preserved, reflecting the family’s history across generations.
