Whiteley, Daryl Earl – Obituary
Daryl Earl Whiteley, 82, of Baker City, passed away on May 14, 2005. Born on July 26, 1922, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II, earning several medals including the Bronze Star. He married Carmen Whiteley in 1945, and together they worked in the livestock industry and construction. A dedicated community member, Daryl volunteered extensively and received the Legacy Man of the Year award in 2001. He is survived by his son, granddaughters, great-grandchildren, and his brother.
