Bowman, Dorcas Tabitha Simonton – Obituary
Mrs. Dorcas Bowman, aged 83, passed away at her daughter’s home in Sturgis after a seven-week illness. Born on August 3, 1856, in LaGro, Indiana, she married Sylvester Bowman in 1876. A long-time resident of Sturgis and a member of the Gospel Hall, she is survived by her husband, five sons, one daughter, 22 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will take place at Moon Funeral Home, with interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
