Biography of William Kilde
William Kilde, born on November 23, 1848, in Norway, emigrated to the United States at seventeen, seeking a better life. He initially settled in Wisconsin, where he worked in farming and saved to purchase a 120-acre farm. In 1869, he married Carrie Paulson, and they had several children together. In 1878, Kilde moved his family to Latah County, Idaho, where he developed a successful 240-acre farm.
